Business Development Manager

Location: Hybrid remote in Lee, MA 01238

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and developing strategic plans that align with our company’s goals. This position will be an integral part of the Leadership Team.

Job Duties:

  • Identify and pursue potential clients, generate leads, and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners (customers and vendors). Report results to the Leadership Team.
  • Monitor sales targets, maintain sales records, and provide regular progress reports to the Leadership Team.
  • Develop and execute business development and sales strategies to enhance market presence and revenue.
  • Working with the Leadership Team, to help develop and implement growth strategies, such as new locations, new or specialized services, pricing, etc.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine service offerings, and to position the company as a leading logistics partner.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with vendors and partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participates in and supports the principles of Open-Book Management.
  • Other duties as requested.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) environment.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to identify profitable growth opportunities.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills, comfortable with the latest technology.
  • Strategic planning capabilities that align with long-term business goals.
  • Experience in Salesforce and ZoomInfo is preferred.
  • Ability to Travel
